How do I create a Malaysian WhatsApp link?
Choose Malaysia and enter a local number or its +60 format. The tool normalizes it to the international format used by wa.me.
Can I use an international number?
Yes. Select International and use + or 00 followed by the country code and number, without an extension.
Do customers need to save my number?
No. A wa.me link opens a chat without saving the number first. The recipient must have an active WhatsApp account.
Are messages sent automatically?
No. Customers can review or edit the pre-filled message and must press Send in WhatsApp.
Can the QR code expire?
The tool creates a static QR code with no expiry imposed by the tool. The number, WhatsApp account and destination service must still work. Generate a new QR if the number changes.
How do I add a button to WordPress?
Generate a link and paste the button code into a Custom HTML block that permits styles. Check that floating buttons do not cover content on mobile.
Can I add UTMs to wa.me?
Use UTMs on your own landing page with configured analytics, then link its button to WhatsApp. A click is not proof of a sent message or a sale.
Are my number and message stored?
The tool processes input in your browser without storing the form or sending it to an external API. Opening a link sends its number and message to WhatsApp. Site analytics, if configured, operate separately.
